Online Ordering
When will my order arrive?
The majority of online orders - barring any unforeseen issues or circumstances including inclement weather - will arrive within 2 to 3 business days once they have shipped. You'll get an email from us when your order has left our Distribution Center including tracking information. We ask that you allow 3 to 5 business days for your order to be packed and shipped.
As a note, if you select the "Ships the week of" option when checking out, that is the week that we will SHIP your order; not the day it will arrive.
What shipping service do you use?
We ship all orders via 2 day shipping with UPS. We ship Monday through Wednesday and, in cooler seasons, later into the week.
Will my chocolate melt in transit?
We have a melt-free guarantee on all of our chocolate, all the time. If your package arrives damaged or melted, contact us and we will rectify it! Our goal is your satisfaction. When the weather is warm, we package the products appropriately using eco-friendly, keep-cool methods.
Who can I talk to regarding an order?

My order contains a gift. Can you make sure price won't show?
We treat every order as a gift and never include pricing information! Additionally, if you left a gift note for your recipient, rest assured that we got it and will include it in your gift!

Where are you located?
We have two locations: French Broad Chocolate Lounge is located in downtown Asheville, 10 S Pack Square. Our Chocolate Factory - where tours take place - is located at 821 Riverside Drive, Asheville. Hours and more details are on our Visit page.
How do I book a tour?

Special Orders & Wholesale
Can I order a whole cake?
For a Chocolate Lounge cake for a wedding, elopement or celebration, send us an inquiry. We do not ship cakes. Check our menu and tell us which cake you have in mind.
Which items can I order to pick up for my special event?
Cakes, brownies, and boxes of cookies are all available to pick up at our Chocolate Lounge (10 S Pack Square, Asheville NC 28801) for your special event. Peruse our current offerings here!
Cookies are approximately 2oz each and available in boxes of 6 or 12. Brownies require a dozen minimum per order. All of the cakes we currently offer at our downtown Asheville Chocolate Lounge are available in 6-inch (serves 6-12) or 9-inch sizes (serves 12-20). We are happy to include a complimentary chocolate plaque if you would like your cake to have a special message like, “Happy Birthday”. There is a 25 character limit. No other customizations are available.
All special orders require at least 48 hours notice.
Do you offer bonbons as wedding or event favors?
We no longer offer favor boxes of bonbons for weddings and other special events, but you can stop by our Lounge or Factory and build custom boxes on your own OR grab one of our prepackaged bonbon sets in store or online.
