the Liquid Truffle

try two new additions to our signature thick, opulent hot sipping chocolate: masala chai, and maple with smoked salt! shown on the right is our cayenne and cinnamon liquid truffle. 65% cacao fair trade organic dark chocolate, organic cream, cayenne and cinnamon. this spicy drink is our homage to the roots of chocolate, when the Aztecs prepared a hot cacao drink with chile and spice. ours is more european in its consistency: smooth, thick, reminiscent of the velvety ganache in our truffle centers. we serve it in a hand-thrown stoneware mug made in Asheville by potter melissa weiss.
